We're here to help.
Got any questions about catering, dining, or our online store? Find the answers you're looking for in our most commonly asked questions below.
If you can't find the answer to your question, get in touch with us via events@jikoni.co and we'll do all we can to help out.
Where can I buy tickets to Jikoni dinner parties?
All tickets for our dinner parties and culinary events are sold on Tock. Head to our business page (https://www.exploretock.com/jikoni)to see what events are upcoming, or sign up to our waitlist (/about-6)to get early-access to all our future ticket drops!
Will a menu be provided in advance?
Our AfriCali dinner parties feature seasonal ingredients. Because of this, we don’t publish menus in advance – guests simply come ready to eat and enjoy.
The evening’s menu will be written in the dining room if you’d like to remember your favorite dishes.
How do I notify you of a food allergy or dietary restriction?
Guests are required to declare any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking.
Because our AfriCali meals are served family-style with a shared menu, we are unable to accommodate all dietary needs. We can provide vegetarian options, but at this time, we cannot accommodate vegan, milk-free, or egg-free diets.
If a protein that cannot be consumed by a guest is on the menu, it will be substituted with a vegetarian dish.
Our team will review all dietary information submitted at the time of booking and will notify you if accommodations are not possible. While we take care in our preparation, all food is made in a shared kitchen, and cross-contamination may occur.
Guests with severe allergies or major dietary restrictions are strongly advised to contact us at events@jikoni.co (mailto:events@jikoni.co)to confirm whether we can safely accommodate your needs.
We are unable to accommodate dietary requests made within 3 days of your reservation. Please keep this in mind when booking last-minute or accepting a transferred ticket. If you need to update your dietary information after booking, please email events@jikoni.co (mailto:events@jikoni.co)at least 3 days before your reservation, including your booking reference number, reservation date and time, and details of your request.
What is the ticket cancellation policy?
As our dinners have limited seating and each menu is thoughtfully prepared for a specific number of guests, we ask that any changes be made with the following advance notice.
• More than 72 hours before the event: You may request a full refund or one-time date change, and we’re happy to help accommodate you.
• Within 72 hours of the event: Tickets become non-refundable, as ingredients have been purchased and our team and menu preparations have been finalized.
• Ticket transfer: If you’re unable to attend within the 72-hour window, you’re welcome to transfer your reservation to another guest. Please note that before transferring a ticket, we are unable to accommodate dietary requests made within 3 days of your reservation. The original reservation holder remains responsible for the booking.
